New Furniture for My Dorm?

I hate my dorms layout.  It is one of the most ugly areas in the entire world.  However, my university will not allow for us to replace the furniture without putting the furniture we currently have into some type of storage. Storage is rather expensive and can be one of the worst ideas for a college student on a budget. Regardless of what my idea is, contemporary furniture is going to be something I look forward to. I hate the old dated furniture we have. I want new furniture now!
