Pocket Watches

When my grandfather was getting sick a few years ago, it was really hard to see.  Luckily, he got through my cousins wedding and oddly enough he died the day after my moms birthday.  I remember being asked a few months later if there was anything in particular of his that I wanted.  I wanted his pocket watch, and I was finally able to find it a couple of weeks ago.   The thing about it is I had to find watch tools for it, which turned out to be quite a difficult task.

However, I finally found a set in the town my grandmother died.  And no, it was my grandmother mom not my grandfathers.  I was rather suprised by that as well, as it was the first time I had gone up since she had died in June, not including the times I went up to clean out her apartment that is.  I have to say that she had a beautiful antique clock as well, which I really wanted but my uncle ended up taking.  I was really inspired by this watch article by Elizabeth from Table 4 Five.  I have been reading her blog for quite a while and really like it!
