Do you need a van rack?

I am just thinking kind of random this evening.  I thought back to the mid 1990′s when my family used to have this ugly Pontiac minivan that would break down every six months and require a 1,000 dollar repair.  The only good thing I can remember about it was that it had a van rack. That rack let us travel back and forth between Chicago, where we lived at the time and Michigan where my grandparents lived. The nice thing about van racks are that they let you take materials to anywhere you may need them without taking up any space in the vehicle. Plus, they were detachable for easy loading!
